Hanna Gaffney
My name is Hanna Gaffney.
I come from a town called Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and I love to hear people pronounce the town Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. My hometown smells like fresh bread every morning and on the way all the kids, including my big sister and I, would all roll down our windows (blizzard or not) to inhale deeply. I grew up harmonizing with my Mom and Sister and making scripts for video projects for school with my Father. I received my BFA in Acting and graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (much to the delight of my Hermione Granger soul). From there I decided I had to do something that scared me. So I left the Midwest, and went to the much larger than Oconomowoc, Wisconsin…..Philadelphia, where I now reside!
I am fascinated with Egypt and re-enacted scenes from The Mummy while I was there in March of 2016, including screaming “YOU MUST NOT READ FROM THE BOOK” around a campfire in the desert. A note: Sleeping in the desert is not romantic. The Desert has mosquitoes. I am not fascinated with mosquitoes. I love that I have a job I love, and I hope to continue to spread that love wherever life takes me.

Most Recent Philadelphia credits include: Spamalot (Lady of the Lake) with Resident Theatre Company, Witness for the Prosecution (Dr. Wyatt) with Bristol Riverside Theatre, and Around the World in 80 Days (Aouda and others) with Hedgerow Theatre Company.
